How much weight can the roof rack or carrier on Buick 96 station wagon Roadmaster hold with out damaging the roof?

I was lucky enough to be able to find a .pdf copy of the 1996 Buick Roadmaster Station Wagon owner's manual online. Buick states that the maximum capacity of their factory luggage rack is 200 lbs.
