Question:

It appears that the handle to operate the hitch may get in the way of a tonneau cover. Can you tell me if the handle sticks up above the bed of the truck when the hitch is at the highest setting? Thanks

If you wanted to use the Reese M5 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch part # RP30890 with a tonneau cover on your 2019 Chevrolet Silverado 3500 then you would need to replace the handle with the Replacement Low Profile Handle for Reese M5 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch part # RP58553. This low profile handle was designed for this exact purpose as the one that is included would likely sit up past or very close to the bed rails though we have not been able to test this yet.
