What Does 5 Amp Hour Rating of Bright Way Trailer Breakaway Kit Mean

Question:
Hi, It wasnt clear to me if 5 amp hour on the battery meant that it had 5 hours of life, or what exactly. I need a kit that will let me tow for up to 10 hours safely. Thanks!

A 5 amp hour battery like what comes with the # 3802354 is a battery that could provide 5 amps for one hour before being discharged. Without the pin pulled it would easily stay charged 10 hours. We also have the charger kit part # 3802349 which will keep it topped off.
