Will Cruiser Star Pin Locking Fastener with Square Back Fit in Round License Plate Hole?

Question:
What do you recommend for round holes? I assume the square nut's foot wont work.

The Star Pin Locking Fasteners # CR81200 works in round holes since the hole will likely be larger than the square recessed area behind the larger clips; the square backing is designed to help these clips stay in place and not spin when installing the screws. While they are designed to be a universal fit and will work on most US vehicles, they may require the existing holes on your vehicle be made slightly larger to fit different applications.
