Question:
Front receiver hitch and tow bar for a 2011 Jeep wrangler. Ive got a Draw-tite receiver hitch, 65069, on the front of my Rubicon and now I need to add a tow bar so I can tow it behind my truck on occasion. What are my options for adding tow bar mounting plates while keeping the front receiver hitch? Id be willing to buy another receiver hitch with the tow bar plates already welded on if that is an option. Thanks

While there are parts that will allow you to flat tow your 2011 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited, unfortunately there is no way to do it with a front-mounted hitch like your Draw-Tite # 65069 because it will not give your Jeep the needed support while being towed.
The most economical option is the Curt Tow Bar with Adjustable-Width Arms # C19745 which comes with universal bumper brackets that do need to mount to a flat metal section of your bumper and will almost certainly require modification to your bumper.
The best way to do this is use a compatible base plate kit that will allow you to attach a tow bar, and there are going to be a number of other parts you will need in order to safely flat tow. The parts you'll need to flat tow your 2011 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited with a standard front bumper are:
- Base Plate Kit: Demco Tabless Base Plate Kit # DM9519292
- Tow Bar: Demco Excali-Bar III Non-Binding Tow Bar # DM9511013
- Wiring Kit: Roadmaster Diode 7-Wire to 6-Wire Flexo-Coil Wiring Kit # RM-15267
- Roadmaster Automatic Battery Disconnect # RM-766
- Supplemental Braking System: SMI Stay-IN-Play DUO Supplemental Braking System # SM99251
I have added links to video reviews and installs as well as written instructions of these parts for you to take a look at.
