Is Additional Fuse Needed to Install Tekonsha Trailer Wiring in 2019 Acura RDX
Updated 08/13/2019 | Published 08/12/2019 >
Question:
Ive installed the kit and I have no power at the harness. Is there a fuse that needs to be installed in one of the existing fuse boxes on the Acura RDX in order to have power at the wiring harness??

Is it possible you didn't install the blue fuse that comes with the Tekonsha trailer wiring kit part # 118800 into the fuse holder that's on the power wire of the kit? Without this fuse installed no power would make it to the module. Worst case scenario if your vehicle does not have this circuit active you could route a wire from the vehicle's positive battery post to this wire and you'd have the harness active.
