Snow Plow and Install Kit Recommendation for 2006 Dodge Ram 3500

Question:
I have a 2006 Ram 3500 diesel quad cab Laramie edition with long bed. It is NOT a dually. I need a front receiver hitch for a snow plow or a custom mount plow to go on it. Cant seem to find anything for my specific truck. Ideas? Thanks

We have great options for mounting a plow on the front of your 2006 Dodge Ram 3500. I recommend going the route of custom brackets for the plow over using a front hitch as we've found that the front hitches are just not as sturdy as the bracket route. We've actually had a vehicle here that's had more than one front hitch "taken of" by a plow that caught something on the ground.
So I'd recommend the SnowBear custom fit kit part # SB397-016 for your 2006 Dodge Ram 3500 as it's a custom fit and a great base for a snow plow. Then for a plow we have the SnowBear Winter Wolf part # SB324-167 which is a really great option. It's 84 inches wide, easily controlled from inside the cab of your truck when plowing and overall a very reliable and solid option!
