Question:
Would this fit over a Honda CR-V factory roof rack bar? The bar is very thin top to bottom but 2 5/8 inches wide.

Yes, the Malone Foam Block for Kayaks # MPG158 will fit on the factory crossbars of your Honda CR-V. The opening for the bars is a bit larger than you'd need but it would still fit and work well.
For a strap set for the bow and stern you'd then want the part # MPG306 and you'd be set.
