I reached out to my contact at Putco who said that their fender trim, like the Stainless Steel # P97190 for your 2011 Ram 1500 measures 1-1/2" - 2" wide.

For stainless steel front and rear fender trim that fits your 2012 Dodge Ram 1500 we have the Putco kit part #P97190 as a confirmed fit. It is a bit wider than 1/2 inch though as it varies in width between 1-1/2 inch and 2 inch.
