How can I know exactly what the largest size travel trailer that I can pull safely with my 2015 Ram 1500 6 cyl 4x4?

In order to determine the towing capacity for a 2015 Ram 1500 you need to know your engine, axle ratio, if you have 2WD or 4WD, your cab size and your bed size. You will then need to take that information and reference your owners manual; from your description and what I saw of the tow ratings you will have a capacity as low as 4,190 lbs to as high as 7,440 lbs but you do need to verify this in your owner's manual.

To tow, if you don't have a factory hitch I strongly recommend the Draw-Tite Max-Frame Trailer Hitch Receiver # 75232 and you should have a factory 7-way but if it needs replacing I recommend the Reese Multi-Plug Wiring Harness for Factory Tow Package - 7-Way and 4-Way Flat Trailer Connectors # 74682. It's also a great idea to use the SumoSprings Solo Custom Helper Springs # SSR-307-47 for optimal support while you tow.
