How to Install Yakima Q Tower Roof Rack to Camper Shell

Question:
What type pads should I use for a truck camper shell?? I recently purchased a used Yakima roof system that was on a Hummer H2, and want to put on my camper shell. Also, what kind of attachment can I use to attach to shell? Will the side mounted ones work with Q towers? I know the flat ones, that are top mounted, will. But would prefer to mount on side with Q towers. I have added a pic. Thanks!

To mount your existing Yakima Q Towers to the roof of your camper shell the best option is to use the Bolt-On TopLoader Mounting Brackets # Y08005. These brackets permanently bolt to the roof to provide a base for your towers and crossbars.
This is really the only way to properly attach Q Towers, which otherwise install using vehicle-specific Q Clips, to a camper shell like what you have. I have attached the written installation instructions that you can check out as well.
