Question:
I’m looking to replace my Jensen AWN970 with a new unit that has HDMI. Does Jensen make a model or is there another make that I can get that will fit in the existing hole?

Expert Reply:
The Jensen RV Stereo AWN970 is what is considered as a double din which refers to the cutout dimensions needed for installation. Therefore, if you replace this unit with another double din stereo like the iRV RV Stereo part # IRV34 then the cutout size should not need to be altered even though the overall dimensions might be a bit different. That said, these are just guides and trailer manufactures do not always follow them so your best option is to measure the cutout you have now and compare that to the stereo you will be installing. The iRV RV Stereo part # IRV34 requires a 7-3/4 wide x 7-1/2 tall cutout.
