Ive got a 2008 SIlverado 3500 with 8ft bed. The width of the bed at the front is 64inch and the width at the back is 62 3/8. Does this Bak X4 account for this narrowing of the bed? Also can you tell me how much of the bed height I lose with this cover? Or how uch does this cover extend down from the top of the truck bed rail? If I buy this now can I, at a later date, buy a Thrule Trac Rac SR system and install with this cover and have no interference? Thanks,

The BAK Revolver X4 part # BAK79102 that fits your 2008 Chevy Silverado 3500 with an 8 foot bed does take into account the change in width between your bed rails so it will fit and perform well. This cover is designed to fit between the bed rails and has a thickness of right around 3/4 of an inch so that would be about how much height you'd lose from the top of the bedrails down.
This is the perfect tonneau to use with a Thule TracRac SR Sliding Ladder Rack like the part # TH43002XT-000 also as it's the only one tonneau we can guarantee will fit the TracRac. It installs far enough to the inside of the bed rails that it easily allows the TracRac to fit and function well.
