I would like to replace my sumo springs with air bag helper springs. Will the air bag spring fit on sumo spring brackets?

You'll have to go with an entirely new suspension kit as there isn't a way to convert your SumoSpring brackets to work with air bags. The kit I recommend for your 2008 Ford F-53 motorhome is the Firestone kit part # F2170 comes with everything you'll need to install it and gives you the best quality air bags around.
