The slider bar that releases the gears for my strap broke off completely. Can I get a replacement?

For your Fulton XLT 2-Speed Trailer Winch # F142418 we do offer a Ratchet Repair Kit # F501133 that includes all the parts shown in the linked photo. If these are different from the damaged parts on your winch please tell me the winch part number from the unit itself.
