How To Carry A Canoe On a 2017 Ram 1500 With Folding Tonneau Cover

Hi, I have a 2017 dodge ram 1500 that has a four panel fold-a-cover hard tonneau cover installed. I’m trying to find a canoe rack that is compatible with the existing tonneau. Any suggestions?

I do have an option for you but the tonneau cover you have must be mounted inside the bed rails so that the stake pocket openings are free such as the BAKFlip G2 Hard Tonneau Cover like part # BAK26203 for 6-1/2' beds or part # BAK26204 for 8' beds. If your tonneau cover is mounted inside the bed rails then you can you can use the Adarac Pro Series Custom Truck Bed Ladder Rack part # A4000944 for 6-1/2' bed or part # A4000945 for 8' beds. In order to secure your canoe to this you can then use the Inno Locker Watersport Carrier part # INXA445 which mount using channels.
If your tonneau cover is not mounted inside the bed rails then you will either need to obtain one that is or carry the canoe on your roof. If you let me know what cab type you have I can provide options for this.
