Lift Assist to Use with Lippert SolidStep RV Step Kit

Question:

Good morning. We had these steps installed onto our camper. When the stairs are installed, the hydraulic door opener had to be removed. Now the door just flies open and is free swinging hitting the side of the camper if we dont hold onto it. Please help. Is there a camper door hinge that will fix this problem? Thank you so much.

We have the SolidStep Lift Assist Kit # LC733937 that will help make raising and lower the Solidsteps you have installed easier. This allows you to raise and lower the steps with minimal effort, or with "one finger" as Lippert says.
