According to Kia you will have the LED rear combination lamps & Center High-Mounted Stop Light (CHMSL) if you have the Soul+ (Plus) Primo Lit Package or the Soul! (Exclaim) Tech Package for your 2018 Kia Soul.
If you aren't sure if you have either of these packages you can reach out to your local Kia dealer with your VIN for confirmation. We actually have the Tekonsha T-One # 118637 wiring harness which is compatible whether you have the LED lights or not. Tekonsha is our most reliable brand when it comes to trailer wiring so I recommend this over the Curt option anyways. I have attached an installation video of this kit on a 2017 Kia Soul for you to check out.
If you don't already have a hitch installed on your Kia Soul then I recommend the EcoHitch # 306-X7326 because it is the only trailer hitch available with a 2" receiver. This larger receiver means you have the ability to utilize a wider range of accessories. Please note that this will only fit if you do not have the EV model which is the same for all of our trailer hitches.
To complete a towing setup you also need a ball mount kit. I recommend checking out Ball Mount Kit # 989900 because it includes two ball mounts, one with a 3/4” rise/2” drop and the other with a 2-3/4” rise/4” drop, a 1-7/8” hitch ball, a 2” hitch ball, and a pin and clip. You will want to refer to the attached ball mount article to ensure that this kit is correct for your towing application.
