Is Optronics LED Flasher # ALEDFB Needed for LED Trailer Lights

Question:
I have a 1994 and 2004 Ford pickups. I am changing my boat trailer lights from regular lights to the optronics LED light system. Do I absolutely need the flasher controls, or should I try it without first. This is to determine if I need to order the flahser controls when I order the lights from this web site.

According to my contact at Optronics, the LED flasher you mention is only necessary when replacing the incandescent tail light assemblies on the truck for LED tail light assemblies. LED trailer lights will work just fine without the LED flashers being installed.
