Replacing AC System on 2002 Foretravel with Furrion Chill Rooftop System # FR67FJ

Updated 06/19/2019 | Published 06/17/2019

Question:

I have a 2002 Foretravel with 2 duo therm AC with 1 multizone thermostat would I be able to use any of the current wiring for the thermostat. In the rear bedroom I have a temp sensor. How does this integrate into the furrion system I also have Aqua hot 2 zone on the thermostat that I am able to run the aqua hot for the front and rear of the coach. is this still possible? Anything else you think is important? what is the load amps at start up?

When installing the Furrion Chill Rooftop RV Air Conditioner Setup # FR67FJ on your 2002 Foretravel RV you should be able to use existing wiring but you will want to use the included multi-zone controller and thermostat in place of what you currently have. This is required for proper operation of the AC unit.

The included thermostat is only designed for use with the Furrion AC unit so I can't be sure if you would be able to tie in the Aqua-Hot system. These items simply haven't been tested together so I can't say for certain that it would work like you currently have it set up.

The Furrion AC System has a maximum startup amperage of 15.4 amps.

I have included a short video review that you can check out as well.
