Trunk Mount Bike Rack to Fit 2012 Nissan Leaf and 2015 Kia Sedona

I have two vehicles that I use - a 2012 Nissan Leaf SL and a 2015 Kia Sedona. Im looking for a trunk mount bike rack to hold three bikes, preferably that fits on both vehicles. It will be for 3 kids bikes. Ive been looking at lots of manufacturers fit guides and it looks like there are very few options for the Sedona. However, your website search filter recommends racks that the manufacturer does not such as the Yakima and Thule racks. Have you tested the fit of those racks in a way that the manufacturer hasnt?

Our fitguide doesn't show any Thule or Yakima racks confirmed to fit your 2015 Kia Sedona. I checked with both manufacturers and they reflect the same. The only 3-bike trunk mount racks we've confirmed to fit the Sedona are the Saris Guardian, part # SAR43FR, if you use Hatch Huggers, part # SA3035, and the Hollywood Racks Over-the-Top, part # HRF2-3.
On the other hand, we do carry two Yakima 3-bike racks that fit your 2012 Nissan Leaf; the FullBack # Y02633, and the HangOut # Y02638.
Since there isn't one trunk mount rack that fits both vehicles you may be interested in adding a roof rack and getting bike carriers for the roof. The SeaSucker Monkey Bars part # 298-SX6000B is a good option. It attaches to the roof with vacuum cups so it's easy to move between your vehicles. I've linked a video that shows the Monkey Bars, as well as another that shows a different SeaSucker product but is great for demonstrating how strong the vacuum cups are.
Then you can add three bike carries like the Thule ProRide XT, part # TH598004.
If you're going to go with two different trunk mount racks I recommend the Over-the-Top for the Kia and the FullBack for the Leaf.
