I spoke with TireMinder about the TireMinder TPMS for Single Axle Trailers part # TPMS-TRL-2 for your boat trailer and they said yes, you can use this system. However, they do not recommend you leave the transmitter submerged for more than 30 minutes. Therefore, so long as you are fairly quick launching your boat you should not have any issues. The sensors are waterproof but you still need to be cautious with submerging them for extended periods of time.
