Backup Camera For Trailer That Syncs To Iphone 7

Question:

Thanks for the link but reviews are not good. Looking for a permanent mount and waterproof too. Am actually fine to hardwire to trailer actually. I want to mount it on the back of the trailer so I can more easily back it into the garage. In addition, reviews say there is quite a bit of lag from the app so not too impressed either. Looking for a top notch unit and am willing to pay for quality. Let me know if you have something or if you have another source.

I do have a camera setup that allows you to sync it with your Iphone 7.

I recommend Rampage wireless backup camera part # RA7710 for use on the rear of your trailer. Our Rampage representative has told us he routinely uses the Rampage Wireless Back Up Camera on the back of 24 and 28 foot horse trailers, and longer fifth wheel trailers, and the camera has worked very well for him. The Rampage camera does not require wiring into the trailer and you can monitor it from your smart phone with the free RamCam app.

I do not have a system that syncs with the 2016 Toyota Tacoma navigation system.

A better more permanent option we carry that you can monitor the camera through your Iphone is Rear View Safety Wifi Backup Camera part # RVS-020770. It mounts on the back of your trailer and is powered by the trailer connector on your vehicle. It comes with it's own WiFi transmitter so you do not need a preexisting WiFi connection for the camera to work which also means you do not have to worry about lag. The camera itself is waterproof and uses 18 infrared night vision lights so It'll light up to 50 feet. It also gives you the option to record video and still shots.
