What Wiring Harness Fits a 2002 Buick Rendezvous and How does it Install
Published 02/03/2008 >
Question:
Hi...I have a 2002 buick rendezvous and I installed a hitch on it. However, I dont know how to get all the wiring done for me to be able to pull at trailer. One place told me to do it via the back brakes a dealership told me theres a harness somewhere in the back of the trunk that I should be able to just plug the wiring into another told me to get a kit, but I would have to either run it through the battery, or through the back brakes, but would need me to cut wires. Please advise on the best way to go about it. If you have the products I need, please let me know so I can also order them through you.

We have a couple of solutions for a 2002 Buick Rendezvous. You could use the harness from Hopkins that you were looking at, part # 41405. I would first check your Rendezvous to make sure you have the proper connector. It should be behind the bumper below the driver side tail light. It should look like the connector pictured. I have included a link to the instructions below. This is a complete plug and play part.
You could also use part # 118383 from Tow Ready. This harness connects to the factory tail light connectors. You remove the tail lights, connect the wiring harness in between the vehicle wiring and tail lights, and put everything back together. I have also included a link to this part and the instructions below.
