Is There Specific Location to Mount Atwood RV Carbon Monoxide and Propane Gas Detector

Question:
Some competing models, such as MTI Industriesfoot Safe-T-Alert 35 and 70 Series Dual Alarms, require installation at least 4 inch above the floor of the RV or trailer. My application is replacing the stock LP Gas detector in my 2003 Eurovan, which is located about 1 inch off the floor. It would be nice to reuse the factory cut-out if possible. Can you please confirm that this Atwood dual alarm can be safely mounted 1 inch above the floor, and does not have the 4 inch requirement of Safe-T-Alert? Thank you!

I took a look at the manual for the Atwood RV Carbon Monoxide and Propane Gas Detector # AT36681 and there was no specifications for being a certain distance above the floor, as you can see by the cut outs I added. Floor level is certainly appropriate for a carbon monoxide detector and you'll want to be sure you follow the installation and mounting requirements that are stated in the manual
I have added a link to a video review for you to take a look at as well.
