Recommended Coupler Lock For Best Theft Deterring

The Reese coupler lock can be defeated in under a minute with just a feeler gauge or a pin. IF you dont want to be quiet, one hit with a hammer and it falls apart. Why isnt this shown on your website? I thought etrailer was supposed to be the THE place to go for quality parts? Im disappointed you would sell such a rubbish product.

I'm sorry you don't find the Reese Tow and Store Lock Kit # RP7014700 to be acceptable. Based on your description it sounds like you are focused on the coupler lock and we have very positive reviews on this product. However we do offer a wide range of each product to allow you to determine the best fit for your needs and budget.

I personally like the Fastway Universal Trailer Coupler Lock # FA86-0015-316 and that is my recommendation for a quality coupler lock that is not easy to pick and can quite literally take a beating. We realize all locks are a theft deterrent and not able to prevent bad people from doing bad things.

If you want a strong basic option, then the Blaylock EZ Lock Trailer Coupler Lock for 1-7/8", 2", 2-5/16" Bulldog Collar-Lok Couplers # BLTL-20-40D is also a great choice.
