your specs on this product are vague to say the least How much do they weigh? Ive read that they smell terrible, is that bc theyre new or a permanent condition? Hows the eyebolt fastened? Can it be tightened when it becomes loose...[bc it will]? Can it be replaced ? Finally, please dont just tell me what you think I want to hear, tell me the truth, if theres defects in the quality I want to know before I purchase. I can handle anything but liars,....

I'll shoot you straight! The MaxxTow Wheel Chock with Eyebolt (DISCONTINUED) MT70073 weighs 8 lbs. They smell not great honestly and it is noticeable. We've had two people come back and say that while they work amazing they smell terrible. Currently that's 2 reviews of 60 total where people said they smell bad and the rest didn't mention it. I've handled these before over the years and thought it was a strong smell like a lot of new things made from rubber will have but it personally didn't disgust me to the point of no return. I'd imagine over time it would go away.
The eye-bolt is not threaded. If you turned it either direction it wouldn't thread itself out of the chock. It may spin but it won't come out.
