Does the Thule M.O.A.B. Have a Weight Carrying Capacity on a 2010 Subaru Forester

what is the weight capacity of the MOAB on top of a 2010 subaru forester with factory roof rails and cross bars? does adding the thule square cross bars to the factory rails increase this capacity?

The Thule M.O.A.B., # TH690, is going to have a greater capacity than the factory roof rack on your 2010 Subaru Forester. in order to determine the roof rack and roof capacity of the vehicle, you can consult the owners manual. The roof rack capacity may also be listed on the roof rack somewhere.
You will need to go by the lowest rated component in the system which will be either the roof or the factory roof rack. Adding Thule load bars will not increase the weight carrying capacity. I have included a link to a video review of the basket for you.
