Question:
2011 Ford E150 Class B conversion van Pleasureway Traverse RV Can I use these in the sand? Headed to Tx Gulf Coast in RV Going to be driving on beaches

Expert Reply:
Yes, the Hopkins GripTrax Traction Plates # HM12501 will work on a sandy beach as well as on muddy and snowy surfaces. Since a sandy beach surface may not always be firmly packed you might consider using two sets so that you have enough length to get the van onto firmer packed sand. Laying down two plates end to end will give you over 4-feet of traction surface so that the van can get enough momentum to roll to a harder surface.
