We have several 49 state legal converters (not legal in California) for the 2002 Lexus ES 300. They can be split into direct fit and universal fit.

For a direct fit rear, you can use # MF26214 or the OEM # MF49992.
For a direct fit rear manifold OEM fit converter, you can use # MF49991 or aftermarket # MF50260.

For a universal fit rear, you can use # MF99205HM.

There are lots of options but to make it easier, the universal fit is going to be the least expensive. A direct fit will be easier to install, and one that uses OEM parts will be the easiest to install of all of them.
