The Tekonsha OEM Replacement wiring part # 22117 comes with three fuses. It comes with one 25 amp fuse and two 30 amp fuses. It also comes with 3 inline fuse holders. There should not be a 10 amp mini fuse with the kit.
This Tekonsha harness is meant as an OEM replacement for the 2016-2019 Toyota Tacoma but also includes a brake controller adapter to plug into the back of your brake controller. The modulite has two black wire loomed cords coming from it. The cord with the metal pieces on the end wires to the back of the 7-way plug. Then there is a cord that is bundled blue black and red wire. The black wire wires from the modulite to the 30 amp inline fuse holder that wires to the positive side of the battery with the included ring terminal. The red wire wires to the 25 amp inline fuse holder that wires to the positive side of the battery with a ring terminal.
The blue wire from the modulite wires to the brake controller plug that has the blue, black, red and white wires coming from it. The black wire from the brake controller plug wires to the other 30 amp inline fuse holder which then wires to the positive side of the battery with a ring terminal. The white wire from the brake controller plug needs to be grounded to a bare clean metal surface. The red wire from the brake controller adapter wires to the cold side switch of the brake pedal. The brake controller plug can now plug into any compatible brake controller listed on the product page of the wiring harness. If you do not have one of the compatible brake controllers, you can cut the plug off of the brake controller adapter and hardwire the blue and black wires to the back of the brake controller that you have. I have attached a wiring diagram for your reference.
