There are replacements for the factory 7-way on your 2002 Ford Excursion but part # 118243 will not fit.
Instead I recommend the Reese Multi-Plug Wiring Harness for Factory Tow Package # 74682 which will plug directly into the 7-way socket of your '02 Excursion (assuming you have the factory tow package) and provide you with a 7-way and a 4-way.
