Question:
My fire place was working great. Tried to turn it on with remote and main switch on unit but nothing. I unplugged the unit, waited 5 mins and plugged it back in. I received a code on the front shewing E1. I havent been able to locate any information regarding E1. Do you have any ideas?

I checked with Greystone and they told me that E1 error code means the circuit board needs to be changed. Since that's not a replacement part they offer you'd have to either replace the fireplace or if still under warranty contact who you bought the fireplace from.
For an exact replacement for what you have you'd want the part # 277-00394.
