How to Access Wiring at the Back of Installed Furrion Stereo # DV3100

Updated 07/21/2021 | Published 03/01/2019

Question:

Dv3100 was factory installed in my travel trailer. How do I get to the back to hook the cables to my tv for the DVD player?

If the Furrion Stereo # DV3100 is mounted flush against a wall of your RV you will need to remove it in order to gain access to the outlets in the back. There is a plastic shell at the front of the unit that you will need to pull off to access the mounting screws.

Once the shell is taken off and the screws are removed you should be able to take out the stereo so that you can plug your DVD and TV wiring in. I have attached an image to assist.

I’m trying to remove my Furrion radio model DV3300. Got everything off except plug on left side(facing radio) multiple wires . Does it just pull out or do you have to depress something to release . I have tried pulling but doesn’t seem to want to come out. Don’t want to break anything. Any help would be much appreciated.

I believe there is a small clip on the side of the plug that you'll want to push in as you pull out to remove it. Try doing this to see if it finally releases.
