This Rhino-Rack RLCP Leg Kit # RLCP15 is rated to handle 220 lbs per pair and although there are portions of the legs that are plastic the structural aspects of the legs are metal.

You will need to check the owners manual of your vehicle to determine the overall weight capacity of the roof of your vehicle. The lowest rated component of your setup will be the overall weight capacity of your setup.
