Recommended Trailer Wiring Harness for the 2019 Kia Sorento EX

For your 2019 Kia Sorento EX without the tow package I recommend the Tekonsha wiring harness, part # 118583, because it has a higher amp draw than the other custom harnesses available. It plugs in behind both tail lights and only has one wire that needs to be connected to the Sorento's battery.

If you don't already have a trailer hitch the Draw-Tite # 75908 is a great option for you. It bolts onto the Kia's frame. I've linked the install details and a video from when we put it on a 2019 Sorento. You also need a ball mount and hitch ball to tow a trailer. We carry a kit that includes everything, part # 989900, but first you need to determine the correct rise or drop for your trailer. I've linked a help article that explains how to measure.
