If OEM Cutout Fascia Piece Needed When Installing Draw-Tite Trailer Hitch on a 2019 Acura RDX

Question:

You just listed for sale trailer hitch 76268 which has a 2 inch receiver for my 2019 Acura RDX tech package. The Acura factory hitch, is only available in a 1 1/4 inch receiver but requires a replacement Acura panel under the bumper to fit the factory hitch but the end result is a very neat installation. Do you have a picture of your 76268 mounted on a 2019 RDX I could look? Do you know if I should obtain install this Acura panel Part Number: 08L92-TJB-200B with your hitch to make it fit best?

We personally don't have any photos as of yet (February 2019) as we haven't had a chance to install the Draw-Tite # 76268 on a 2019 Acura RDX but I do have a picture from the installation instructions which I have attached for you to check out.

Since the Draw-Tite receiver sits under that rear bumper fascia it looks like you wouldn't need the extra fascia piece that Acura recommend for their OEM trailer hitch. Although this receiver won't look quite as clean as the OEM hitch the tradeoff is that you get the Class III 2" receiver. The benefit to this is that you get a wider variety of accessories that you can use with it.

If you let me know what you would be using the trailer hitch for I can make additional recommendations if necessary.
