Question:
I bought a 2019 grand design Imagine 3000qb with two AC units. Looking for advice on the size of two inverter units that are big enough to handle both AC units when used with a parallel kit. I dont want the biggest heaviest units nor do I want two that are being maxed out the whole time and a burning through the gas

I was able to find out that you have 2 of the Coleman Mach 15 AC units installed on your 2019 Grand Design Imagine 3000QB. Since these have start capacitors installed on them the inverter kit I recommend going with is the etrailer 6,000-Watt Portable Inverter Generators Parallel Kit # 333-0002-2-0007.
This kit comes with 2 of the etrailer.com 3,200-watt inverter generators which when combined give you a total of 6,000 watts starting (surge) power output and 5,500 watts running) rated power output. This is a great kit for your AC units and it also includes 50-Amp 14-50R and 30-Amp L5-30R outlets for your RV.
I have attached a review video for you to check out. You can also reference the product page for more information about how to calculate the power needed for your camping trip.
