Do Sidewinder Pin Boxes Help Towing With Long Bed Trucks as Well as Short Bed Truck

Question:
i just purchuse a toyhauler and it has a reese 61411 sidewinder i have a long box truck and i know this is a short box pin box any issues using it

Sidewinders give the most benefit to short bed trucks since they allow turning clearance without needing a slider hitch but they also provide other benefits that all truck bed lengths will benefit from. The trailer will track better behind the truck as you make tight turns. This means that the trailer won't take quite as much of a "shortcut" as you make tight turns since the pivot point is further back. And Sidewinders make reversing the trailer easier too. In my (and many others) Sidewinders are the best pin box solution for towing with a truck of any bed length.
