Can the same install kit be used on 6-1/2 ft beds on the 2011 and 2012 F150s? And, can the they accomodate air springs versus the one piece per side Reese R50082-53 type or the Curt 16418 type? Thank you.

The Reese Custom Installation Kit, # RP50081-58, has brackets that install on the outside of the frame rails so you would be able to use air springs that mount to the inside of the frame rails. I have included a link to the installation instructions for this kit as well.
The CURT Installation Kit, # C16441-104 also installs on the outside of the frame rails.
All of these kits are for a 2011 or 2012 Ford F-150 with a 6-1/2 foot bed.
