Question:
I have a 2019 F350 King Ranch 4x4 with the 8foot bed. I am going to install the Retrax Pro MX retracting bed cover. Do you know if I can close the bed cover with the hitch installed without removing the locking handle for the hitch.

Expert Reply:
According to my research, your 2019 Ford F-350 has a cargo box depth of 21.1". The RetraxPRO MX Hard Tonneau Cover part # RT80384 will then sit 1-1/2" below the bed rail therefore you have around 19-1/2" of space left. The Reese M5 Series 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch part # RP30921 measures 18" from the base to the top of the handle while at the lowest setting so it should clear just fine.
