Question:
Thank you for your reply. I am away from the motor home now and can't return for a couple hours. I can tell you it is a Coach Step (single step) on a 2005 Holiday Rambler class C (Atlantis). The number I gave you was on a sticker applied to the module. I will send a photo when I get back. I will appreciate any help you might be. I have disconnected the linkage and the step moves freely. When I put a hot wire directly to the motor it will function properly both directions. I have 12.6 volts at the module. I get a short sound when opening and closing the door. I have checked the grounds with the ohm meter. On rare occasions the step will function correct.

I spoke to my contact at Lippert Components and they unfortunately have no reference to the "25842 " number that you provided. Do you know if you have Kwikee or Coach steps? The part number should be 6 digits long or start with a 90. If you send me a photo of your module I can then see if we can try and identify it for you.
