I need a tailgate lift assist kit and a tailgate liner for my Ram 1500 long bed.

You can use the DeeZee Custom Tailgate Assist kit # DZ43301 on your Ram 1500 but the Hopkins EasyLift # 74211 does not fit your Ram.

For a tailgate liner I recommend Bedrug's 3/4-inch thick carpet-over-foam tailgate liner # BMT02TG if you want a cushioned surface for working (or sitting). This is shown in the included photo. Or use the WeatherTech thermoplastic liner # WT3TG04 if you want tough protection for the tailgate from dings and dents.
