Hey team - how do I the lock? Do I need to somehow remove the circular filler where the lock should go?

In order to add a lock to the Tightening Knob for Thule TH440 Specialty Railing Rack part # 753-1755 you just simply need to pull out the plug and then insert a new lock core, preferably one that matches the keys you already have. In order to do this you will need to enter THLOCKN### into out search box with the ## being the number on your key. For example, the Replacement Lock Cylinder for Thule Racks and Carriers part # THLOCKN070 works with "070" Thule keys. You will also need the Universal Change Key for Thule Locks part # 853-1251 to install the new lock core.
