Snow Chain Recommendation for Tire Size 215/50-17

I have a 2017 Bolt EV. The manual says not to put tire chains on the car, but your website lists several tire chains as a confirmed fit. Can you confirm that these tire chains would really fit on my car without causing damage? I guess the concern is that at speed, some chains would lift away from the tire and hit the inside of the wheel well or other car parts because there is very little clearance on my car. If there is one particular model that would be best, can you recommend it?

For the tire size of 215/50-17 that you have on your 2017 Chevy Bolt EV the best low clearance chain option we have is the Konig K-Summit set part # TH02230K33. The reason these are the best option is because the chains do not go over the inner shoulder of the tire at all which is the area that would cause interference issues if there was going to be one.
We have to recommend you stick with the recommendation of your vehicle manufacturer but sometimes you can show them options like this where the clearance issue is alleviated and they'll OK the use of the chains.
