AC Replacement Recommendations for 15k Ducted BTU Opening and 13.5k Non-Ducted
Published 01/03/2019 >
Question:
I want to upgrade from 13,500 btu ducted unit to new 15k in main salon of Rv and move old ducted unit to 14x14 non ducted vent opening. Can I use ducted AC in non-ducted opening? I realize I will need inside panels and thermostat combo. But will I reduce air flow too much?

There isn't a way to install a ducted AC unit in a non-ducted ceiling hole unfortunately. You'll have to go with two new units like the Atwood Air Command # AT15028-22 for the ducted application you want a 15k btu setup for and then for the non ducted roof opening you'd want the part # ACM135C which is designed for 13.5k btu.
