The towing capacities of the Draw-Tite Max-Frame Trailer Hitch # 76154 that you referenced are higher at:
Maximum gross trailer weight: 8,000 lbs
Maximum GTW when used with weight distribution: 12,000 lbs
Maximum tongue weight: 800 lbs
Maximum TW when used with weight distribution: 1,200 lbs
It certainly has capacities that are higher than most Class III hitches but it is listed as a Class III. Since the classification system is really just a way to organize everything I wouldn't worry too much about that as long as the towing capacities are adequate. You said you have a 9,000 lb camper with weight distribution so this would easily work with that.
