Hi. So I have a 2018 Volvo V60 the R design and I need a trailer hitch and also wiring to pull a light trailer can you please tell me what I need. R design.

Starting with the trailer hitch I recommend the Draw-Tite Class III Max Frame Receiver Hitch # 75916, which is confirmed to fit the R Design edition of your 2018 Volvo V60, because it is the highest rated unit available for your vehicle.

This will provide you with a 2 inch receiver opening, will use existing holes in the Volvo's frame for a no-drill installation, and features a clean hidden-crosstube design where only the receiver will be visible (see attached photo). I have attached the installation instructions that you can check out as well.

Then for trailer wiring I recommend the Curt Harness # C56287 because it is the easiest to install and allows for a more secure attachment of the converter box than the other available options. The custom harness will plug right into factory ports located inside the trunk behind the driver and passenger tail lights. Once these connections are made you will simply run the hot lead up to the battery and you will have a 4-Way to connect with and power a trailer's basic signal lights.

To tow a trailer you will also need a ball mount and hitch ball. I have attached a great article that explains how to choose the best one for your setup along with a link that will take you to our available selection.
