Question:
Im looking for the sales pitch as to why I would buy the Thule, Yakima, or Rhino racks over the Rolas? What feature or quality should I be considering besides price? My needs are for cargo and I have not plans to mount specific systems like bike or ski racks. Im basically looking to add attachment points, maybe some day at a roof top container like one of those clamshell/bullet shaped things.

The winner in my opinion is the Rhino Rack roof rack for your 2017 Hyundai Santa Fe with flush mounted rails part numbers # RRVA137B-2 and # RRSX032 over the other brands. You get the same quality and ease of install as the Yakima and Thule racks at a better price. The common complaint with the Rola roof racks is that the bars bend and flex more than most people like and the install isn't quite as easy. With all that in mind the Rhino Rack is the best pick.
