You keep talking about the factory 7 way plug. I had to get a new 7 way plug on my 2004 F-250 extended cab. It is a Hopkins 7 way plug. Will the Hopkins smart hitch back up camera system HM50002 wire adapter work with this plug? Also how long is the wiring harness?

The Hopkins Smart Hitch Backup Camera and Hitch Aligner System # HM50002 is compatible with the 7- and 4-Pole Trailer Connector Socket w/ Mounting Bracket - Vehicle End # HM40975 on your 2004 Ford F-250. The wiring harness for the camera system is 19 feet 7 inches long.
